Summer fruit & vegetable show

Many thanks to all those who contributed to this year’s show – as usual, the combined effect of the exhibits resulted in a wonderful exhibition of flowers and produce, in spite of the dry summer weather. The Committee would like to thank Joyce Taylor and the kitchen gang for arranging the judges’ lunch and the refreshments, and all the others who lent a hand assembling the displays and clearing up. A small profit was made for Village Hall funds.
